As a real estate investor, I’ve owned and renovated multiple properties over the years. However, Gloucester County was new territory for me. I was unfamiliar with the county’s code and did not have a team of trusted contractors in my rolodex. How fortunate that I found Daniel Mast. He is a consummate professional.
First and foremost, he’s an excellent communicator. That’s incredibly important to the process – since design changes and unforeseen circumstances are inevitable during a construction project. No emails, texts or phone calls went unanswered. If he came to me with a problem, he also had sound alternative solutions. That only comes with experience and longevity in the trade.
Next, Daniel is a fantastically skilled craftsman. If I could draw it, he could build it. His custom cabinets and built-ins are nothing short of perfection. The finish and mechanical components are far superior to any product I’ve used before. Daniel’s cabinets are in our master bedroom, kitchen, hallways and bathrooms. Each is gorgeous. And while the cabinets and trim look great, I wouldn’t hesitate to award an entire home construction contract to Daniel. He’s that good.
Third, Daniel is a true professional with a strong work ethic and excellent project management skills. One need only tour his construction trailer to understand that this guy is organized – maybe even a little OCD – and meticulous in his work. If he doesn’t own a tool or gadget, it hasn’t been invented yet.
Finally, Daniel’s a heck of a nice guy. It was a pleasure working with him and his son, Anthony, who did all of our tile work. As other projects come along, I will not hesitate to use Daniel again. It’s hard to put a price tag on peace of mind, but Daniel has earned my trust completely.
